Why Just Live When you Can Thrive!
Thrive supports and works in conjunction with the following organizations:
The Washington Institute of Natural Medicine: The Washington Institute of Natural Medicine is a natural health care center offering natural health care to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The center's staff includes Doctors of Naturopathy, certified and licensed practitioners, and natural health care interns. A variety of Thrive's courses are taught through WINM which can be found on their website.
American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP): The American Association of Drugless Practitioners Certification and Accreditation Board was established in 1990. The AADP is dedicated to promoting an enhanced professional image and prestige among practitioners of traditional and non-traditional therapies and methodologies.
The A.A.N.C. was founded in 1985 to assist nutritional professionals in achieving more recognition through board certification. The A.A.N.C. is dedicated to preserving the right of unlicensed nutritional professionals to provide nutritional education to individuals to improve their overall health and well being. We also seek to avoid legislation that would limit the number of health professionals, or hinder the education of consumers in the vast array of choices available for their healthcare.
Environmental Working Group: The Environmental Working Group is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. Our mission is to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment. EWG drives consumer choice and civic action with its game-changing investigations and research on toxics and environmental health, food and agriculture, and water and energy. For two decades, EWG’s groundbreaking research has changed the debate over environmental health.
National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Services: The National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Service (NAPNES) is dedicated to promoting and defending the practice, education and regulation of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Practical Nursing Educators, Practical Nursing Schools, and Practical Nursing Students.
Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society is the international honor society of science and engineering. One of the oldest and largest scientific organizations in the world, Sigma Xi has a distinguished history of service to science and society for more than one hundred and twenty five years. Scientists and engineers, whose research spans the disciplines of science and technology, comprise the membership of the Society. -The owner of Thrive Wellness Center was nominated into membership because of her extensive reasearch done for her undergraduate thesis at the FDA's Division of Hematology in the field of blood substitutes and has been a baccalaureate constituency member of Sigma Xi since 2000._
